When contemplating change in your life, it can be helpful to fully understand, appreciate and accept where you are right now in the present. Standing still is paradoxically a critical first step in long-lasting, tailored change that feels satisfying.
Difficult emotions like fear, anxiety, sadness, anger and grief can manifest in the body through a process called retroflection if we do not resolve them adequately. Headaches, stomachaches and hypertension are some of the illnesses that can result.
If your attention is focused on concern or worry for things around you and in life to the point that you realise you are distressed, then try centreing yourself by drawing your attention back to you, your emotions and your physical body sensations.
